Concerts aim to revitalise and entertain grown-ups as well as give your babies a new magical musical experience. Sensory elements include sound, sight, touch, including bubbles, scarves, feathers and simple baby massage techniques for you to explore with your little one at your own pace.

Multi-instrumentalist and community musician Martin Harwood (fiddle, guitar, banjo, vocals) is a well-known figure on the local and national traditional music scene primarily for his touring and recording work with bands Skyhook and Caravanserai. We’re delighted to be partnering with the University of Leeds who will be helping us to evaluate the impact of Concerteenies’ Relaxation Concerts. We will be looking for adults to take part who are willing to attend our next series of performances and to take part in the data collection (this may involve being included in observations, completing some questionnaires or talking to a member of the research team).

As a result of this partnership, we’re able to offer a 25% discount on 5 adult tickets per concert. We encourage you to attend all six concerts and take part in the research, but this is not obligatory. If you or anyone you know might be interested, please email Karen Burland (k.burland@leeds.ac.uk) stating how many tickets you would like and which dates and times you would like to attend by the 4th of February and names will be selected randomly by 11th February! We will then send you the discount code to use when booking your tickets.
