Project Director
Early Childhood Music in South Yorkshire (ECMiSY) is a three-year Place Partnership project supported using £1m of public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA) is the accountable body for the project and has committed a further £1m of funding through Adult Skills and The Mayor’s Little Big Book Club. SYMCA has commissioned Concerteenies to be the operational lead for ECMiSY working closely with the Place Partnership Consortium.
Concerteenies is recruiting a full-time Project Director to lead ECMiSY from the beginning of January 2027 (or as early as possible).
Project Evaluator
Early Childhood Music in South Yorkshire (ECMiSY) is a three-year Place Partnership project supported using £1m of public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
Concerteenies is seeking freelance support for the evaluation of ECMiSY. We welcome proposals from teams, collectives or individuals. The evaluator will design and lead a developmental evaluation that tells partners, funders and families what difference ECMiSY makes, and helps the programme improve as it goes.
Trustees
Concerteenies is a team on a mission; to level up access to high quality live music for all children from birth: strengthening families and communities, supporting children’s all-round learning and development, and laying the foundations for life-long musical engagement.
We are seeking to appoint three or four new Trustees to support the charity at a pivotal point in our rapid growth and development. Trustees will draw on their life experiences and/or professional knowledge and skills to enhance Concerteenies’ work as we strive to provide excellent live musical experiences for every child aged 0-7, with a ‘pushchair proximity’ promise in our hometown, Sheffield, where we want a Concerteenies event within walking distance of every home.
Volunteer Event Assistant
If you love music and working with young children, volunteering with Concerteenies is a great opportunity. As a Volunteer Concert Assistant, you will support with event management, greeting audiences, delivering creative activities before and after the concert, plus singing along and joining in with all the actions during the concert.
