Vote for Concerteenies in Tesco Stronger Starts

Concerteenies delivering a Musical Story concert. Funding from Tesco Stronger Starts would boost this work.

Tesco Stronger Starts gives schools, charities and non-profits funding to help children and young people access healthy food and activities.
The grants it offers range up to £1,500 in value, and are decided by a public vote in Tesco stores.

The Concerteenies team are thrilled our charity is featured in Tesco's Stronger Starts scheme in Sheffield in winter 2025 (October-January 2026 ) 

Will your vote make a difference?

Yes! If we are successful in winning funding, we would use it to take our Musical Stories project to three primary schools near the Infirmary Road Tesco store as part of a South Yorkshire tour.
The project includes performances in schools, teacher training, lesson plans and digital resources aiming to support music and literacy.
We know this kind of work has a huge and enduring impact on early years children, as per this quote from a headteacher. 

‘The performances in schools are always first class, and build up a sustainable experience year on year.
”The partnership with Concerteenies brings particular benefits to children in deprived areas, who would not necessarily be exposed to such quality music in their early years.’

How to vote for Concerteenies

To vote, all you need to do is buy your items as usual when you visit Tesco.
You should receive a blue voting token from the cashier, or ask for one.
Pop the blue token you receive into our box at the Stronger Starts kiosks in the following Sheffield Tesco stores:
