Ryedale Festival: Mouse and Bear

  • Milton Rooms Market Place Malton, York YO17 7LX (map)

See our much-loved musical story Mouse and Bear at the prestigious Ryedale Festival.

Based on the book by Kev Payne, this is a musical retelling with music by composer Paul Rissmann, brought to life by narrator Polly Ives and clarinettist Jack McNeill.
It’s perfect for children aged 3-7 and their grown-ups.
With fun actions and songs to join in with, this is a relaxed and friendly introduction to music, animation and storytelling.

“Mouse loves to paint. Sometimes she sells her paintings in return for food which she shares with Bear. Bear is big and powerful and promises to protect Mouse but when a storm comes will Mouse be forgotten? A tale of determination, inspiration and new-found friends.”

This is our third year performing alongside world-class musicians at the Ryedale Festival.
