Musical Stories | Blown Away Sheffield Libraries Tour

Join Concerteenies in 10 libraries across Sheffield for the musical story of ‘Blown Away’ for children aged 0-7 and their families.

‘Penguin Blue and his friends are in for a surprise! It all starts with a windy day and a brand new kite… Come fly away with Penguin Blue as he gets caught in a gust of wind and the adventure begins.’

Meera Maharaj (flutes) and Sarah Carroll / Polly Ives (narrator) perform new music by Paul Rissmann based on the book by Rob Biddulph. Vic Craven’s animations bring the book to life on the big screen!

With fun actions and songs to join in with and a relaxed and friendly environment, this is a perfect introduction to music, animation and storytelling. Performances last approximately 45 minutes.

To book FREE tickets, please ring, email or visit your chosen library. Contact details for each Sheffield library can be found here.
