Listen - Relax - Dance - Play

Join Concerteenies’ creative practitioner, Sarah Carroll, and our team of professional musicians for a relaxing morning of music with your baby at Adventures - the newly-renovated Highfield Adventure Playground in Sharrow.

Listening to a wide variety of live music with your baby is great for bonding, relaxation, communication, active listening and well-being. There will be instruments, bubbles, scarves and more to explore with your little one.

This week’s concert features Luke Carver Goss, a workshop leader, composer and community musician. He writes for and performs with unusual and regular instrumental combinations, as well as devising and improvising musical material with a number of groups. His music includes commissions for BBC National Orchestra of Wales, the Cultural Olympiad, and for festivals and concerts up and down the UK. He co-curated the Sage Gateshead’s first Words and Music festival with poet Ian McMillan. He is the main writer for The Ian McMillan Orchestra, as well as writing for The Devil’s Violin group. Luke also works with The Lost Chord, a charity that takes live music to those living with dementia.
