Join Concerteenies’ creative practitioner, Sarah Carroll, and our team of professional musicians for a relaxing morning of music with your baby at Adventures - the newly-renovated Highfield Adventure Playground in Sharrow.
Listening to a wide variety of live music with your baby is great for bonding, relaxation, communication, active listening and well-being. There will be instruments, bubbles, scarves and more to explore with your little one.
This week’s concert features Manon McCoy, a british-french experimental harpist and composer based in the North of the UK. Her work spans installation making, live performance and experimental sound art, and centres around improvisation. She is interested in exploring the boundaries of both pedal and lever harp through preparations, live processing and improvisation. Her latest record in collaboration with vocalist Alice Brookes was released in April 2025 on the Berlin-based label Elektramusic. Manon has performed across the UK at venues such as: Cobalt Studios, Bishops House, White Hotel, The Samuel Worth Chapel, Brudenel Social Club, Yes MCR and festivals: Lancaster Jazz Festival, Newcastle Festival of Jazz and Improvised Music, Footprints Jazz Festival and Liverpool Irish Festival. She has worked and performed alongside Lili Holland-Fricke, Juliana Day, John Pope, Tom Harris, Stuart McCallum, Amirtha Kidambi amongst many others.
